Redefining FIT

My logo has bothered me for a couple of years. I felt like it was chasing people away. 


Here is why...


“Fit” in one of the definitions is defined as - in good health, especially because of regular physical exercise.


So everyone thinks I’m going to chase you to workout. Plus eat carrots all day long. This is simply the farthest from the truth. 


My goal is to encourage in a loving way to see God in your health journey. Not me. 


Yes, I’m a vessel, but not the answer. 


If you just rolled your eyes at me, I hope you will read on, just cause you are curious if it’s true. :)


Those that know me well, know the valleys and mountains I have seen. We all have them. 


I do know God wants us to have community in our journey. 


What you do with the path to health is different for everyone. Be prepared to see a whole different world of “fit” from God’s lens. All health conditions are curable with Him. 

Curious Health Project

The health world started out being a very frustrating place for me. Tons of people wanting to get well, but something always stood in their way. Myself included. I had known the answer to getting rid of the KP on my arms, but my own selfish wants kept me in the same place for a long time. 


It wasn’t until my life was turned upside down that God sent me a miracle. The courage to trust Him in my journey. Instead of relying on others to do it for me. 


Everything changed. Enter #loveyourneighbor in effect. Look for my website to be interweaved with His love...and being curious on where He is taking us all next.

The Food

I’m a Plegan...I think? This is a new hip word, because Vegan doesn’t really cover what worked for me. Plegan is the word plant + vegan. Pretty much means no limits in the world of plants for consumption. 

 

To be real, there are so many ways to define yourself by an eating lifestyle. To make it simple, I eat what God planted on the Earth. I think that covers it. Yes, eating this way comes complete with a workout. Complete with all the things God truly wants us to do, is just love, trust and not be anxious. He knows we need these things.

Encapsulated Extras & Oils

Yep, to thrive we ALL  need supplementation. I use both encapsulated organic non-gmo plants and clean minerals from the Earth. 


I love using essential oils for simple medicinal purposes. They are also a beautiful way to have safe scents on your precious skin versus perfumes and plug in air fresheners. 


If allergies plague your life, give it a shot for a week, and unplug all the things you use in life that have “added fragrance.”

Water

In Genesis, water came before any food on the Earth. There is a reason, we can go longer without food than we can without water. The body is mostly made up of water and glucose. Making sure ½ of your body weight in ounces daily is CLEAN filtered water intake, will help your body out a whole lot. 


If your hands and nose are super dry...this is the body’s loud cry for more water in your life. 

Skin

Skin is our biggest organ, and plays a huge role in signaling inner organ trauma. Keeping safe products on our precious skin can be a key player in recovery from common ailments like psoriasis, eczema, allergies and more.

 

Thankful to just use water now for skin health. It has enhanced and/or reduced my need for expensive skin care products. Amen!

Move Thy Lymph

My world has always encompassed some form of exercise as part of my routine. When I was hit with a serious health issue these past two years, God sent me an angel to help. 


She taught me the value of moving the body’s lymphatic system using a professional device. She also connected me to natural remedy support from ingredients God put on this earth to heal us. This was a pivotal change in taking health to the next level for me. 


The cleaner your liver can make your blood, two things happen. You move closer to knowing God, and your heart will thank you too. 



There are also some super simple ways to move your lymph are by dry brushing after your shower, practicing daily rebounding and good ol exercise. I’m a big Yoga fan. Check out Caroline Williams on YouTube for some amazing Holy Yoga.
